Athéna, Nelson et le hibou viennent d'atterrir près d’un volcan tout prêt à se réveiller. Un membre d’une équipe de tournage d’un documentaire est porté disparu, et la machine est inutilisable à cause de la fumée qui s’échappe du cratère. Il va falloir trouver un autre moyen pour le sauver, mais aussi enquêter pour comprendre ce qui se passe vraiment … Quelles sont ces étranges secousses qui poussent le volcan à entrer en éruption?

Athena Nelson and the owl have just landed close to a volcano ready to erupt. A member of a documentary film crew is missing, and the machine is unusable because of the smoke escaping from the crater. They will have to find another way to rescue him, but also to investigate to understand what is really going on ... What are these unusual tremors that are pushing the volcano to erupt ?
